Someday many metformin hcl 850 mg years from now;
We’ ll sit metformin 1000 mg tab beside the candles glow;
Exchanging tales about our past;
And laughing as the memories flow;
And when that distant day arrives;
I know it will be understood;
That friendship is the key to live;
And we were friends and it was good

If you’ve been on Facebook, for any length of time, then you should know what Facebook groups are.

If you don’t know what they are, I like to describe them as, a “Profile Page” that’s geared towards a specific topic or interest.

And if you’re like me, I’m sure it’s safe to make the assumption, that you belong to a half dozen or more.

As an Internet Marketer, I would also say that it’s a safe bet, that you have started a FB group or two of your own.

If you haven’t started one, you should! They offer tremendous marketing & branding potential.

Just make sure you don’t allow the following to happen to your group.

A BIG PROBLEM WITH FACEBOOK GROUPS:

One of the biggest problems I see with FB groups, is that most creators or administrators, don’t monitor their group(s) as closely as they should, if at all.

As a result, nearly everything that’s being posted, is nothing more than SPAM!

There’s no discussions going on, very little if anything of value or substance is being posted, no relationship building of any sort occurring.

After a while, their Facebook group has absolutely nothing to offer, ZERO value.

But it appears, that most group creators, don’t mind this because they see their group’s, member number increasing.

And for many, this is how they measure the success of their group, by the number of members.

But what they fail to realize is that…

Large Member Numbers + No Admin Oversight = SPAM Heaven!

It’s not about the number of members your group has, its about the CONTENT, your group has to offer. When good content is being offered, the numbers will come.

TIPS TO MAINTAIN YOUR FACEBOOK GROUP’S VALUE:

  1. Monitor your group! Assign a couple of members as administrators to assist you.
  2. Post topics that make your members what to respond.
  3. Delete outright spam and give the responsible member one warning. Block them if they continue.
  4. Include a clear description of what your group is about and encourage members to stay on topic.
  5. Avoid sending numerous promotional messages to members of your group.
  6. Post relevant and valuable information & resources. Whether it’s Educational, Inspirational, Motivational or just something Humorous.

Conclusion:

As I stated previously, starting a Facebook group, is a great way market and brand yourself.

But if you’re going to take the time to start one, then why not take the time to run it properly, so that you can get the most out of it?

Utilizing these 6 tips, surely won’t hurt you in your efforts.

Thanks Anthony McNeil for the tips!

Facebook Ads Tips – 1

Your current Facebook ads don’t suck, it’s just that they could be better. When spending money on Facebook advertising, you must monitor your ad spend closely, as the expense can skyrocket and suddenly kill your campaign’s effectiveness. Too many Facebook advertisers are making beginner mistakes that end up making Facebook rich and the marketer broke. Stop making those mistakes! Use these tips below and dramatically increase your Facebook advertising skills.

Split Test Your Ads

One of the most important things for any advertiser is to ensure that the advertisements you are running are the best that they can be. Too often advertisers/marketers will launch a Facebook ad campaign and see that they just spend $100 and got little results and generalize that this must be the case for all campaigns on Facebook. The reality is that your ad campaign probably wasn’t performing well because your ad wasn’t great. The best marketers know that performance comes from testing things out.

In the image below there are two sample ads. In this case we are testing against two interest groups: those that like tunafish and those who enjoy base jumping. I would guess that base jumpers tend to be more passionate and as such they are more likely to respond to an advertisement. I haven’t actually run these ads so I don’t know. However you should test numerous variations. Switch one component of your advertisement at a time and then compare it to another and see which works better.

There are a limited number of variables that you can change, but here are the four primary groups that you should be testing ads against:

  • Ad copy – What does the text of your advertisement say? Asking the user to click “Like” below tends to work relatively well.
  • Ad image – Test different images to see which ones perform the best. You can get extremely granular and test images within various demographic groups. You may find things such as that pink images work better for females.
  • Interest groups – Another thing you should be testing is which interest groups are more passionate (and hence more likely to click). It’s frequently too expensive to target less passionate and less responsive markets as they click on ads much less frequently.
  • Demographics within interest groups – Once you find a passionate group, try splitting the ads by gender or age group. You may find that some groups perform better than others. Narrowing this down will help you increase your ads performance and reduce the effective cost per click and cost per action.

10 Killer Facebook Marketing Tips

fb

Of all the social networks, Facebook offers the most abundant and unique platform, network and tools when it comes to all around marketing and networking.

Facebook is an attractive tool for marketing, PR and brand building – and an excellent tool to add to your marketing mix. Following are 10 ways you can use Facebook to introduce new people to you, your company and your products & services for FREE!

1. Make a Top-Notch Profile: This is absolutely the FIRST thing that you must do to make an impact on Facebook. Think of your Facebook profile as part of your branding. An effective profile will include a photo of you. Don’t use the one of you at a Christmas party, unless that’s what you’re selling. Make sure your new Facebook profile is complete. You should include your contact information, your web address (this is so important), education, work experience and your personal interests. A complete profile is the only way to go.

2. Add Friends: This is what makes Facebook a great platform – the ability to make friends, build relationships and foster them. The more relationships you build, the more worthwhile your marketing efforts will be. You can use Facebook’s own tools to find friends that are already on Facebook. Once you add your friends, you can search for kindred spirits. Make their acquaintance, become their friend, build a relationship. One cool feature on Facebook is that you can see friends of your friends. This will help you build a extensive network in no time.

3. Join Facebook Groups: You can join groups within Facebook that are associated with what you do, or whom you’re targeting. There are groups for wealth building, coaches, and experts of all kinds. Almost every conceivable type of professional service provider has some type of online group. I belong to several groups on Facebook and have made hundreds of new contacts this way.

4. Create your Own Facebook Group or Fan Page: Can’t find a group that really makes sense? Create your own! You can add members, publish articles, carry on discussions, and probably build some long lasting relationships. And even if you find great group to belong to, start your own. This gives you the opportunity to be the trendsetter!

5. Syndicate your Blog Using RSS: You can syndicate your own blog on your Facebook profile page. This inherently means that every time you make a post, it will automatically show up on your profile page. More Exposure = More Readers = More Leads = More Business. And the bonus is the back links to your site.

6. Comment on Other Peoples Profiles: Are you a fan or devotee of someone’s work? Reach out to them on Facebook! Many of my business acquaintances check their Facebook messages more regularly than their email. They are also more likely to respond to Facebook messages. Don’t feel comfortable sending a message to someone you don’t know? Don’t worry! Leave them a “just saying hi!” or “I enjoy your work!” blurb on their wall. All profiles come with “virtual walls” where

friends and acquaintances can leave messages. The more messages you leave on your friend’s Facebook profiles the more exposure you get!

7. List your Events: Launching a New Service? Create an events page and invite all your friends and acquaintances. You can even see who RSVP’d and get feedback from your guests. Marketing doesn’t get much simpler (or cheaper!) than this.

8. Send Virtual Gifts: Want to show your appreciation for someone? Send them a virtual gift. You can choose from a bouquet of flowers to a potted plant that actually sits on your friend’s profile and grows over time (plus hundreds of others). With all the 3rd party applications for gift giving available, what are you waiting for? This is a proven way to build long lasting relationships!

9. Use Some Cool Apps: Facebook has literally tons of applications that were built just for the site. Gaming, music, movie trivia and more. When you use an application, you get to invite your friends to use these interesting little applications (Apps). So just like number 8 above, this allows you another way to stay in touch with your Facebook friends. Again, this helps you build long lasting relationships.

10. Create a Community: Perhaps Facebook’s greatest benefit is that it lets you to build a community. It provides you a group of people who are personally connected to you, and they are open to hearing what you have to say. Write on people’s walls, give them feedback, and introduce them to each other. Start building your brand and leveraging Facebook for business building!

Facebook is a great place to introduce yourself to a ton of new people who may also become customers and/or clients. Just keep two things in mind:

1) Don’t get too carried away and spend all your time there.

2) Never sell, push advertising or push your service offerings.

Facebook is a tool, and should be considered as such when integrated within your marketing strategy. When you use the tips above – use them wisely, and have a little fun at the same time!

These lessons will repeat , again and again and again.

Until your learn where did you go wrong and not do it again.

And then,the cycle of ongoing lessons will be broken. Only then you will be a liberated soul of your own.

How to Build and Grow a Successful Facebook Group

join-our-facebook-group

You’ve built a facebook group but you’ve only got a few members. How do you get the thousands of members you’d like and how do you keep them? Here’s some tips to help you grow your facebook group:

1. Build the Right Foundation – Set it up right. Make sure you choose a title, category and description that is most relevant to your brand or target demographic. Offer as much info as possible about your group including contact info, location, purpose. If you want to build real community, allow people to post comments, photos and/or videos in the group. You’ll likely want to make your group public so anyone can join.

2. Friends Build Friends – The best way to get people to join your group is through personal invitation – so get busy inviting your friends who are already in Facebook. Your friends’ friends will then notice that they joined a new group and may be interested in checking out the group.

3. Use Email to send Invitations – Facebook allows you to send group invitations to all of the contacts in your Outlook, Hotmail, Gmail, and Yahoo accounts, so don’t forget to invite everyone who’s not already a Facebook friend.

4. Update Regularly – Don’t build your Facebook group then leave it to stagnate for 6 months. Update your news and photos and videos and comments regularly. Update your group bi-weekly or more if possible, depending on the nature of your group.

5. Promote Your Group Outside of Facebook – Promote your Facebook group on your website, in press releases, in your blog. Wherever you have a presence online is an opportunity to feature your Facebook group and invite people to join.

6. Be Human, Be Friendly – Welcome new members, send out periodic emails to your group, encourage them to invite their friends. Don’t abuse your members by spamming them with irrelevant information, but keep it focussed on the topic of your group. You’ll notice that many people who join your group will not already be your “facebook friend” — so send them an invitation to become your friend.
