Here is Nicholas allegra a short Accutane 40mg - 90 pills list of Facebook Marketing Tips that goes over basic networking and facebook etiquette. There are many times when I friend someone new and then get a private message from that person not thanking me for accepting my friend request, but to sell me with “Hi, would you like to invest…”, or “Please visit our website to purchase our great product.” Have you ever received any of these types of messages? It can get very annoying. So here are a few tips on Facebook Marketing..

Tip 1 – Do Not Hard Sell ( A BIG NO-NO, Usually  done by MLM )

Facebook Marketing is not about adding people to your network, and then sending them messages about investing or buying something as soon as your friend request gets accepted. Moreover, if they decline, please do not ask them for referrals or names of other people that you can pester. You are annoying people instead of getting them interested in what you are promoting.

Read the line above carefully, and note that the key word there is “interested.”

If people are not interested in what you have, they will not buy. If people do not feel a need for what you have, they will not buy. If people are not interested nor have a need for what you have, neither will they ever want to refer other people to you.

Tip 2 – Content Relevant to Your Audience is Key to Getting Attention

If you are selling a product or service through Facebook, you do not get people’s attention by messaging each and every one of them asking if they want to try your product or service. Instead, create and upload useful and helpful information such as articles, video or links on your profile page that your prospects will find important to them.

The best articles are always informative articles that zero-in on a specific need, problem or situation that they encounter or are in, that needs a solution. By providing valuable content to people on your network, you not only build and sustain a relationship with them but build TRUST.

People buy brands they trust. People buy from people they trust.

Tip 3 – Be Passionate About What You Post

Many times I see Facebook profile pages that look like they were half heartedly done. It gives me the impression that the person who created them did so not because he liked it, but did because his boss told him to do it as a way of getting more leads or potential business for the company. People see through that.

Be genuine, be real. Put your passions on your Facebook profile. I think it goes without saying that, it would be an advantage if you truly love your job and love what you do, because it will show in what you are posting on your profile page. When you write about something you are passionate about you will never run out of things to write, because you will always find something interesting to say… something that other people will also find interesting.

Tip 4 – Treat Your Friends as Friends and Not Leads or Prospects

I have heard many people talk about bumping into their Facebook friends on the street or somewhere but they never say hello. Facebook friends who initiated an a friend request even! What is the point of having someone on your FB friend list if you cannot even say hi or see eye to eye in the real world. People forget that, marketing is about relationships. This often happens when some person trying to sell something simply adds people to his friends list in order to try and pitch a product or service.

Everyone hates a salesman, but everyone likes to have a friend.

Tip 5 – Grow Your Network

For any social marketing effort to work, there is one thing you would need to do consistently… and that is to grow your network continuously. Apart from that, make sure to post useful content that people on your network would enjoy and find useful.. be helpful and make time to interact with people on your network. Again, marketing is about relationships… look at a person as a person and not as a lead.

Wrong Turns

KUALA LUMPUR: Barisan Nasional Fluoxetine 20mg - 90 pills should stop making one wrong turn after another with regard to the Bersih 2.0 rally, said MIC central working committee member S Vell Paari.

Expressing regret over the harsh reaction to the rally from the onset, he warned that the July 9 episode had left a gaping wound and it was counter productive for BN to continue dumping salt into it.

“Let us put aside Bersih 2.0′s call for electoral reforms, what is also needed is a total reformation in BN, where its leaders should learn to handle a crisis in a more diplomatic manner instead of using tear gas and water cannons to silence dissenting views,” he told FMT.

Vell Paari noted that Bersih 2.0 had a bone to pick with the Election Commission, but the unwarranted actions and threats from the authorities made it seem that the coalition was against BN.

Commenting on the Tung Shin Hospital incident, he said the police should apologise if it had fired tear gas into the compound and not attempt to skirt around the issue when there were many videos and photographs to back the claim.

“Sometimes in a tensed situation, there is a possibility that an overzealous policeman may make a mistake, and the police should just admit this instead of going into denial mode,” he said.

The game has changed

Vell Paari said that the game of politics in Malaysia had changed tremendously over the years, but the politicians in BN still refused to adapt and held on to antiquated strategies.

“We cannot operate like how we did 10 or 20 years ago, everyone has access to information, almost everyone is walking around with a smart phone – with just a click of the button, information comes pouring.

“ In order Xenical 60 mg to argue its case, BN must engage its opponents and critics on the same wavelength and not invoke security laws, deploy the police or ban T-shirts,” he added.

Concurring with Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin, Vell Paari said the six Parti Sosialis Malaysia (PSM) leaders held under the Emergency Ordinance should be released.

“Their continued detention will only make things worse for BN and the repercussions will be felt in the next general election,” he added.

On the same note, Vell Paari said he felt sorry for Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak, who was bearing the brunt of the Bersih 2.0 fiasco.

According to him, the premier had been on the right track, pushing the right buttons, and saying the right things, especially with his 1Malaysia concept, since taking over the reins in April 2009.

“He was genuinely trying to bring changes and reform. But he has been given ill advice on Bersih 2.0 and now it has backfired. It seems that the PM needs new advisers,” he said.

Vell Paari also took a swipe at those calling for Bersih 2.0 chairperson S Ambiga’s citizenship to be revoked.

“It is precisely idiotic calls such as this which land BN in a fix. Some of these ‘jokers’ were also part of rallies and protests in the past, especially in Penang. So these hypocrites can do BN a lot of good by keeping their mouths shut,” he said.

Furthermore, he added, in terms of credentials, Ambiga “outclassed” them.

YES 4G!

July 20th, 2011 | by novinthen | gadgets

Jul

YTL Communications Buy Januvia Online Sdn Bhd’s has launched what it claims to be the “most affordable” 4G Mobile Internet service with voice via its “Yes 4G network”, promising roaming at Malaysian rates.

No more exorbitant roaming charges as one can even make a video call from aboard at local Malaysian rates, Chief Executive Officer Wing K. Lee, said.
The biggest Mircette 15mcg - 84 pills single launch with 1,500 base stations nationwide, the network covers 65 percent of the population and aims to increase it to 80 percent by end of next year with another 1,000 base stations being deployed.

Lee was speaking to reporters after the grand launch of “Yes 4G Network” by Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin here today.

Also present were Minister of Information, Communications and Culture, Datuk Seri Utama Dr Rais Yatim and Tun Lim Keng Yaik, former Energy, Water and Communications Minister.

Users just have to “pay-as-you-go (use)” of nine sen for 3MB of data, one minute of calls or one short message service, said Lee.

“Yes” also offers a rebate of up to 30 percent to power users who consume high amounts of data.

This will effectively reduce the already attractive rates to as low as two sen per MB or RM20 per GB while offering users the power to self-manage by setting temporary data caps.

At the launch, YTL Communications and Samsung also introduced the world’s first all 4G mobile phone called the “Yes Buzz.”

YTL Communications has also successfully interconnected its network with other mobile service providers in the country beginning today.

“Finally, we are interconnected to everybody with the full cooperation of other service providers. I think we have joined the club and want to keep up our performance,” said Executive Director Datuk Yeoh Seok Hong.

As of yesterday, it was not certain if YTL Communication had interconnected with other service providers.

But, Yeoh declined to reveal the number of its pre-registered users except to say:”It is three times more than what we expected and the numbers are healthy.”

Being the first in the world to introduce the service, he claimed that there were no comparison or competition for its services.

Yeoh said the company was keen to cooperate with China and the rest of Asia’s telecommunication service providers to provide the 4G services.

Elaborating further on “Yes”, Lee said “Yes ID” comes with the 4G Internet with a 018 mobile number that enables connectivity via multiple devices.

He also claimed that Internet users with “Yes Network” would enjoy speeds up to five times faster than 3G, meaning one can upload an entire 100-picture photo album in the same time it takes to send 20 photographs.

“Yes Network” services is also one converged plan, without a contract.

FB E-Mail

November 15th, 2010 | by novinthen | facebook

Rumours on Facebook’s E- Mail system Clomid 100mg - 30 pills has been surfacing since last year.  Dubbed “Project Titan”  new e-mail Facebook will integrate fully the social network, using the working model of the network of friends.

An ecosystem of communication ‘sensitive’ to the world of relationships of people, able to combine text, pictures, music and video in a single container of communications.

And to give this information flow a priority based on the social context of each.

So why does Facebook wants to create a email system?

Let’s look at the numbers first,

  1. Windows Live ( Hotmail ) – 361 Million users ( the first e-mail i used back in late 90s )
  2. Yahoo Mail – 273 Million users (the second email i used in early 2000s )
  3. Gmail – 193 Million uses ( Mid 2005 till now )
  4. Facebook Email – 500 ( and counting ) million! ( The future?)

Facebook’s messaging system already supports sending of text, images, videos and links. Almighty Facebook just needs to enable sending of documents ( rumored to be partnered with Microsoft – Docs for Facebook )  and sending “out” e-mail to non-Facebook users, and Eureka – we have the biggest e-mail provider , biggest photo hosting , some-what big video sharing site all in one – Facebook.com

Now who said Microsoft was evil? *grins*

Techno-culture – Facebook is for Oldies too!

November 14th, 2010 | by novinthen | facebook

old people computers

Facebook is six. Maybe you didn’ t get Buy Atacand Online it in your news feed, but it was in February 2004 that Harvard student Mark Zuckerberg, along with some classmates, launched the social network that ate the world. Did he realize back then in his dorm that he was witnessing merely the larval stage of his creation? For what began with college students has found its fullest, richest expression with us, the middle-aged. Here are 10 reasons Facebook is for old fogies:

1. Facebook is about finding people you’ve lost track of. And, son, we’ve lost track of more people than you’ve ever met. Remember who you went to prom with junior year? See, we don’t. We’ve gone through multiple schools, jobs and marriages. Each one of those came with a complete cast of characters, most of whom we have forgotten existed. But Facebook never forgets.

2. We’re no longer bitter about high school. You’re probably still hung up on any number of petty slights, but when that person who used to call us that thing we’re not going to mention here, because it really stuck, asks us to be friends on Facebook, we happily friend that person. Because we’re all grown up now. We’re bigger than that. Or some of us are, anyway. We’re in therapy, and it’s going really well. These are just broad generalizations. Next reason.

3. We never get drunk at parties and get photographed holding beer bottles in suggestive positions. We wish we still did that. But we don’t.

4. Facebook isn’t just a social network; it’s a business network. And unlike, say, college students, we actually have jobs. What’s the point of networking with people who can’t hire you? Not that we’d want to work with anyone your age anyway. Given the recession — and the amount of time we spend on Facebook — a bunch of hungry, motivated young guns is the last thing we need around here.

5. We’re lazy. We have jobs and children and houses and substance-abuse problems to deal with. At our age, we don’t want to do anything. What we want is to hear about other people doing things and then judge them for it. Which is what news feeds are for.

6. We’re old enough that pictures from grade school or summer camp look nothing like us. These days, the only way to identify us is with Facebook tags.

7. We have children. There is very little that old people enjoy more than forcing others to pay attention to pictures of their children. Facebook is the most efficient engine ever devised for this.

8. We’re too old to remember e-mail addresses. You have to understand: we have spent decades drinking diet soda out of aluminum cans. That stuff catches up with you. We can’t remember friends’ e-mail addresses. We can barely remember their names.

9. We don’t understand Twitter. Literally. It makes no sense to us.

10. We’re not cool, and we don’t care. There was a time when it was cool to be on Facebook. That time has passed. Facebook now has 500 million members, and its fastest-growing demographic is 30 and up. At this point, it’s way cooler not to be on Facebook. We’ve ruined it for good, just like we ruined Twilight and skateboarding. So git! And while you’re at it, you damn kids better get off our lawn too.
