As much as I hate the blog about politics,but I have to say this.
Post-Hindraf rally,or the so-called political awakening of Indians,many Indians have come forward to voice out their opinions through Blogs and now Facebook.
Thanks to the “setup” in few mins registration for Facebook and Blog,everyone seem to find their 30 seconds of fame on the World Wide Web.
Before the rally,we can count the number of famous Indian bloggers with our hands. Post rally,even calculator gets confused in calculating the number of politically awakened people debating from Karl Marx to Kangkung Kirai** on new media such as Facebook.
The problem with the wave of awakening is, most people still do not know they have awaken into another dream world altogether!
To sum up all the mess in one line, everyone is talking and no one is listening. This fairly relates a quote I read on the Net years ago :-Opinions are like assholes. Everybody has one!
And the beauty of debating is, he or she ( but mostly its a HE anyway! The SHE(S) are very much busy with their work! ) will keep on logging onto Facebook just to release their load of tension on the Net.
- Got stuck in traffic jam? Blame to government
- LRT was late? Blame the government
- Boss scold you? Blame the government
- Lunch not tasty? Blame the government
- Had stomaches? Blame the government
- Girl friend did not SMS ? Blame the government
- It rains when you are going back home? Blame the government
- ________ fill in the blanks and please blame the government.
- Got nothing to blame? HAA!! That means something is wrong but we do not know it yet! So still blame to government!
Of course the government has its shortcomingslah, who does not? But bitching on the Internet certainly does not contribute a single cent in solving the problem. It is just wasting precious bandwith from TMnutNET. Pinpoint the problems and give the solutions.
Try to help in the betterment of the society. If cant just leave it. Let them do their work.
Let us not open our mouth just because we have one. Dogs do that,not humans.

too much garbage to process on the net nowdays. Ppl just shoot off without even thinking of what they say (i call it verbal diarrhea) and then just conveniently disappear when others debate their arguments.
I like your analogy about dogs…. some ppl are just barking away becoz they want to be given a bone. they are too lazy to go and find one for themselves without depending on others
