I had an experience in PJ a couple of months ago…was chatting with 2 frens, suddenly a chinese old lady came, asking for money. We said no, she did not budge..she waited until we gave her the money. Later, she went to chinese customers, they said no and she just moved. I was surprised…are we indians naive or what..

After that, yesterday i saw a man in a restaurant in Nagas, selling incense sticks, said he is selling to support his childrens education, we bought from him…We do not know whether he is a genuine case or not…but he is not begging…so why not support him by buying the product… it was worth it to help this kind of people..

Those monks are not even from here. They won’t understand Malay nor English. They won’t stop begging to you until you give them something. These monks are really good bugging no matter what you did.

Hmm, I don’t know how much I spent for alms but I only give to those who need it.

i dont like giving money to monks or whatsoever they claimed that the money will be for the temple or mosque. humans can’t be easily trusted when it comes to money.

but the man selling pen, i’d surely give. at least he has an effort to make a living rather than just sitting beside the walkaway and begging.

anyway, HI! havent’s heard from u quite a long time.
